Before giving an overview of this children story book, let me begin by telling you first about actually dementia is? Dementia is a loss of memory among people of older age in general terms. Some examples of dementia includes forgetting something after placing an object in room, inability of comprehend in the event of conversation etc.

Now it's time about storytelling. Once there was a senior citizen grandpa Jack who loves his grandson Alex, likes to recite stories of his younger age to make Alex happy. Alex also used to adore grandpa the same way. Together they often enjoy spending quality time with each other.

One day strange thing happened, Alex observed that grandpa forgot in recalling where he put his glasses, so grandson worried and start looking for around.

At first Alex couldn't understand why grandpa forgets so he approached his parents, from there Alex was told that Jack suffers from dementia that was the main reason he faced difficulty recalling things.

To relieve pain and stress for his grandpa, Alex come up with a creative plan and built a "Magic Dementia Memory Box" for beloved grandpa Jack. The new box worked as magic in storing and retrieving information, stories, daily events that grandpa shared with his grandson Alex. 

At school Alex also came to know during conversation more about dementia when heard the same problem confronting in others homes too. So together, Alex and his classmates at school explored and shared their own ways and thoughts for coping with dementia. Young children made their strategies what could be done to make seniors happy at homes.
